Davis Love III – Gator Golfer
There was a children’s toy in the 1990s called Gator Golf which featured the slogan, “Gator Golf – what could be greater than playing a game of golf with a gator?” To answer this question the best person to ask about this would be Titleist player Davis Love III because first-round play at the Zurich Classic in New Orleans was interrupted when an alligator invaded the fairway. The Alligator was moved off the fairway and Davis Love III completed his round.
