Lee Westwood captures PGA Tour title in exciting climax at the PGA Tours St. Jude Classic

Westwood, ranked no. 3 in the World, managed to eventually defeat fellow FJ ambassador Robert Karlsson with a birdie on the fourth sudden death playoff hole. The longest playoff in the history of the event saw Westwood hole from 6 feet following a stunning approach to close out the event and maintain his great form going into the second major of the year.
Westwood’s 22nd career win has seen him take the top spot in the European Ryder Cup standings and has moved him to 4th position in the Race to Dubai rankings.
