Today marks the official opening of the 150th British Open Championship at St Andrews. Today we will see some of he greatest players in the world playing with the latest high tech golf clubs and balls on the world’s oldest course. At the end of the 19th centrury the rules of golf were drawn up at St Andrews so this course is now known as the “Home of Golf”. The Open was first played on this course in 1860 and since has produced many great winners.
