Golfing Tip Special – Tip 4 Choose your equipment carefully
What you need to remember is that golf clubs are made for the “average” person. In order to play a successful game you need to know what clubs are best for you.
Here at Golfbuyitonline we recognise that every golfer is different and will want the average persons golf clubs adapted so that they are unique to individual golfers.
No golfer swing is the same, so it makes sense to adjust golf clubs to suit each individual golfer. Custom fitting is a process of tailoring a club so that it suits your personal swing. Golf Clubs aren’t cheap this is why many of our custom options are often at no extra charge, this is making us the leading custom fit company in the country today.
We have also developed the most advanced Custom Fit Studio in the UK today covering every aspect of custom fit from putters through the whole bag to your driver. We are Europe’s # 1 Titleist and Nike Custom Fit Centers as well as having premier fitting centres for Mizuno, Cobra, TaylorMade, Callaway, Ping.
By getting a custom fit golf club you are helping improve certain aspects of game for instance custom fit golf clubs can help in fixing your slice, the angle in which the custom golf club approaches the ball and the side spin it can help improving your game. It is important to remember that custom fit golf clubs won’t cure all bad shots but the custom fit golf club will help the outcome of a good swing.
Golfing Tip Special – Tip 3 Improve your swing
Have you ever thought that your golf swing could be affected by the shoes you are wearing. A badly fitting pair of golf shoes can actually put you off balance therefore affect your swing. Golf shoes should merit the same consideration as others areas of your golfing game because if your shoes do not fit your feet properly than all aspects of your game may suffer as a result not just your swing.
Top quality golf shoes are a necessity when you are playing golf on a regular basis. When you consider that, on average, a golfer will play a round a week and that adds up to a massive 260 miles walked in a year, bearing in mind, that 260 miles is what a low handicap player can expect to complete. We expect much from our golf shoes, but, unless they are less than perfect and hurt the golfer’s feet, they are given little consideration.
By having a a good pair of golf shoes you can improve your swing because your feet are propely secured to the ground. You need to make sure that your feet are properly secured to ground but at the same time you need to make sure that the shoes are not causing you any pain.
Long story short, if you don’t have a good solid base for your swing how can you expect it to be repeatable.
Golfbuyitonline stock an impressive line-up of the biggest names in golf shoe manufacturing, from Footjoy, Nike, Adidas and Callaway and come in an attractive range of styles, colours, sizes and width fittings for men, ladies and junior golfers.
Golfing Tip Special – Tip 2 Practice Makes Perfect
Today’s top tip is all about how often you should practice. The most important aspect about practicing is that you use your time wisely. You also need to be able to identify what aspect of the game that you need to practice at, is it your drive, putt or chip? There is no point just going down to your local driving range or golf course just to hit balls, it needs to be about practice and technique. Practice isn’t about how many balls you hit; it’s about how consistent you hit them.
Here at Golfbuyitonline we have a huge selection of practice equipment that will help you practice golf, from putting mats to chipping nets to practice tour sticks or even hand exercisers.
Tour sticks are one of the hottest new golf training aids on the market today and are used by many PGA Tour Professional. They are used to help alignment; they are versatile and can be used for several applications including putting, swing and short game shots.
We also have a selection of chipping nets. If you are looking to improve accuracy in your shots then try practicing with a chipping net.
If you are looking to develop hand strength, dexterity and endurance then why not have a look at our selection of hand exercisers. With consistent use these have got to help improve your game.
When you use quality golf balls and practice aids, your golf score can only improve. All you need is reliable golf practice equipment to make your practice sessions effective. Remember practice the right way for maximum results in less time.
Golfing Tip Special – Tip 1 Grip
This week we are going to be blogging about some useful tips that we think could promote your game this summer. Today’s golf tip we will be covering Grip.
Every golfer should strive to have the perfect grip on their golf club. Developing a good golf grip, by holding the golf club correctly, you can seriously improve your game. If you find that your grip is incorrect that, there are a number of ways in which you can work towards getting the perfect grip.
Firstly you need to ensure that you have the right grip size for your hands. Grip size can be a criteria element in club fitting and performance on the course. While standard size grips are adequate for the vast majority of golfers, many players can benefit from oversize or undersize grips.
Once you have selected the appropriate grip size you need to ensure that you are holding the club correctly. Hold the club in the left hand if you are right-handed (vice-versa for left handers). The club should lie across the bottom of your fingers, just above the palm. The V formed by your thumb and forefinger should point toward your right shoulder. This will allow your right hand to sit perfectly in position with the line that has been formed between the thumb and the index finger.
You then need to focus on the pressure of the grip. Your grip should be firm but not to tight, a good way to test this is by a visual check. Hold the club in the left hand only and raise it up to waist height. Look at the thumbnail of your left hand and see what colour it is. If you are gripping too tight you will see whiteness around the tip. If the pressure is correct your nail will appear it’s normal pink colour.
Holding the golf club always feels awkward at first but will soon come naturally with practice. Here at Golfbuyitonline we have a huge selection of grips, if your wears out or you don’t have the correct grip on your club you should defiantly consider getting a new grip. Grips wear out with use, heat, moisture and even just time. Replacing your grip at the right time is the best way to ensure that your clubs will feel solid, secure and you can get the best grip possible.

Watson and Horsey Trust Titleist To Claim Victory
The superior feel and performance of the legendary Titleist Pro V1x leads Bubba Watson and David Horsey to their first career PGA and European Tour titles
Titleist golf ball loyalists Bubba Watson and David Horsey entered the winners’ circle this past weekend, trusting the feel and control of the legendary Titleist Pro V1x to claim their maiden titles on the PGA Tour and European Tour respectively. Watson came from six shots behind going into the final round to claim the Travelers Championship in a play-off, defeating fellow Titleist Pro V1 loyalists Corey Pavin and Scott Verplank at the second extra hole. David Horsey also topped a leaderboard which featured a host of Titleist golf ball loyalists, finishing one shot clear of Titleist Brand Ambassador Ross Fisher and four other Titleist golf ball loyalists who finished among the top-3 and ties at the BMW International Open.
Watson fired a final round four-under par 66, before recording a birdie at the first extra hole and par at the second, to claim his maiden PGA Tour title at TPC River Highlands. Joining the trio of Titleist golf ball loyalists at the top of the leaderboard were Chris Riley (Pro V1), who missed out on the play-off by one shot, Padraig Harrington (Pro V1x) and Chad Campbell (Pro V1x) who were among four players tied for fifth place. As well as being the choice of the top finishers in Connecticut, Titleist golf balls were also trusted by the majority of the field, with 104 players compared to 19 players for the nearest competitor. Titleist also topped the counts for iron sets, sand, lob and approach wedges, and putters respectively.
On the European Tour, David Horsey shot a bogey free final round 67 to finish on 18-under par, 270 and claim the BMW International Open by one shot. In addition, Titleist Brand Ambassador Ross Fisher eagled the last to claim second position ahead of five players tied for third which included fellow Titleist Brand Ambassadors Pablo Larrazabal and Kenneth Ferrie and Pro V1x loyalist Rafael Cabrera-Bello. Titleist was also the choice of the majority of the field in Germany, with 85 players putting their trust in the #1 ball in golf, more than all other brands combined.
Elsewhere, on the LPGA Tour Christie Kerr (Pro V1) shot a final round 66 to claim her second career Major title, the Wegman’s LPGA Championship, by a record breaking 12 strokes from fellow Pro V1 loyalist Song-Hee Kim. Kerr was the only player to fire all four rounds in the 60’s and claims the World #1 ranking with her victory. On the Champions Tour, Loren Roberts (Pro V1) fired a 7-under par final round to claim his twelfth Champions Tour title at the Dick’s Sporting Goods Open. These victories take Titleist’s 2010 worldwide golf ball win count to 63, compared to 14 for the nearest competitor and more than all other golf ball brands combined.
Maiden PGA Tour and European Tour victories for Bubba Watson and David Horsey, a second career Major for Christie Kerr and a host of Titleist golf ball loyalists at the top of leaderboards around the world, continues to prove that the world’s best players opt for the matchless performance of Titleist golf balls for their success.
