Ian Poulter captures the WGC- Accenture Match Play Championship playing Titleist Pro V1x golf balls and wearing Footjoy Icon Golf Shoes, both which are stocked at Golfbuyitonline.

The Next Generation of Trust: Titleist Brand Ambassador Bill Haas Wins Bob Hope Classic 22 Years after his Father.

Success at the highest levels of competitive golf requires absolute trust in yourself and in your equipment.  At the Bob Hope Classic, Titleist Brand Ambassador Bill Haas, demonstrated just how powerful that trust can be. Relying upon the Pro V1 golf ball and 14 Titleist golf clubs from tee-to-green, Haas realised a dream, winning for the first time on the PGA TOUR.  With a birdie on the final hole, his well-earned victory comes 22 years after his father, fellow Titleist Brand Ambassador Jay Haas, also won the Bob Hope Classic.

Haas closed with an 8-under 64, the best final round of his PGA TOUR career, to finish the weather-delayed 90-hole event at 30-under par, 330.  He becomes the third first-time winner of the Bob Hope Classic in four years, each of whom also trusted Titleist golf balls for their success. Recent winners of the event include fellow Titleist Brand Ambassador Charley Hoffman in 2007 and last year’s winner who relied upon the Pro V1x.

Brown beat fellow Titleist Ambassador Ashley Hall in an all-Titleist play-off at the New Zealand PGA Championship to top a leaderboard where 11 of the 13 players in the top-10 trusted a Titleist golf ball. On the Champions Tour, Tom Watson trusted the feel and control of the Pro V1 to win the Mitsubishi Electric Championship in Hawaii. Titleist also topped the counts for irons sets, sand, lob and approach wedges and putters at this event.

The third consecutive victory on the 2010 PGA Tour for the legendary Pro V1 franchise, and the second for a full line Titleist player, in addition to yet more victories across worldwide professional tours, offers further proof that the game’s elite opt for the matchless performance of Titleist.

Nike Golf athlete Charl Schwartzel won the Africa Open on the PGA European Tour at East London GC, South Africa.  Having started the day two shots behind, Charl quickly took up the lead with four birdies in his first seven holes.  Three more birdies on the back nine at one point stretched his lead to four, before a dropped shot at the last meant a nervous wait before securing a one shot victory.  In a tournament dominated by South African’s who filled the top four positions, it was fellow Nike Golf athlete and Euro Tour rookie, James Morrison, who finished as the leading European in a tie for fourth.

This makes it two wins out of three so far for Nike Golf athletes on the 2010 PGA European Tour, following Pablo Martin’s victory at the Alfred Dunhill Championship.

Titleist Ambassador Adam Scott wins the Australian Open by five shots to claim his 14th career title.

Full line Titleist player Adam Scott shot a final round 72 to claim a five shot victory in the Australian Open at New South Wales Golf Club. Scott’s 15-under par total of 265 saw him top a leaderboard in which nine of the top eleven players trusted the superior feel and playability of Titleist golf balls. Having previously claimed tournament victories in Europe, Asia, Africa and the USA, the Australian Open marked Scott’s first professional win on home soil. The win also marks another professional victory for the new Titleist iron line with Scott following in the footsteps of fellow Titleist Ambassador Gregory Bourdy to claim tournament success with the new Titleist MB.

In addition to the new Titleist MB irons, Scott trusted the feel and playability of Titleist clubs from tee to green, including the legendary Pro V1 ball, 909D2 driver, 909F2 fairway metal, 909H hybrid, Vokey Design pitching wedge, Vokey Spin Milled sand and lob wedges and Scotty Cameron Newport 2 MidSlant putter. As well as being the preferred choice of the players at the top of the leaderboard in Australia, the Titleist Pro V1 was also the preferred choice throughout the field with 115 players, compared to 10 players for the nearest competitor.

Elsewhere, Pro V1x loyalist Chan Yih Shin, claimed the King’s Cup in Thailand for his first Asian Tour victory. Shin took the title with a birdie at the first extra hole of a three-man play-off which included fellow Pro V1x player Simon Yates. Titleist was also the most played golf ball in Thailand with 103 players compared to 22 for the nearest competitor.

A notable five stroke victory for Titleist Ambassador Adam Scott, as well as a further win on the Asian Tour takes the 2009 worldwide win count for Titleist golf balls to 154. This impressive tally is more than five times the nearest competitor with 26 and more than all other brands combined, proving once again that the game’s elite continue to opt for the matchless performance of Titleist.
