KARLSSON RISES UP IN ALL FOOTJOY PLAYOFF AT DUBAI WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS
FootJoy, the Number One Shoe and Glove in Golf is once again celebrating a hugely successful week at the Dubai World Championships, capped by yet another success for Robert Karlsson, one of its leading ambassadors. He claimed the coveted title after edging out Ian Poulter in a dramatic sudden death playoff in the final tournament of the 2010 Race to Dubai season. The tall Swede birdied the first and second playoff holes to claim his second title of 2010 and the eleventh of his career. The final leaderboard highlighted FootJoy’s dominance with the top 5 players all wearing FootJoy shoes, and 4 of the top 5 trusting the unrivalled performance of an FJ glove.
Karlsson, who finished 6th in the final Race to Dubai standings, chose the uncompromising style and comfort of the FJ ICON™ and superior grip and feel of the FJ StaSof® glove. Showing belief and confidence in his equipment even under the sternest pressure, Karlsson closed with a final round 67 that featured a bogey free back-nine of 33. Runner-up and fellow FJ ambassador Ian Poulter wore the FJ ICON MyJoys – customising his very own style and colour combos, as well as choosing the FJ SciFlex™ glove. World #1 Lee Westwood, who finished tied for 3rd – one shot out of the play-off, opted for the FJ SYNR·G™, the ultimate in stability and performance and the FJ PureTouch™ glove; while Ryder Cup star Rory McIlroy, who rounded out the all FJ Shoe top 5, went for the unashamedly youthful FJ Sport™ and PureTouch™.
Whether it is the all round excellence of the all-new FJ ICON™, the reliability and consistent performance of DryJoys Tour™, or the comfort of the FJ Sport™, FootJoy remains the overwhelming favourite for golfers of all abilities around the world.

POULTER UNTOUCHABLE WITH FOOTJOY IN HONG KONG
FootJoy, the #1 Shoe and Glove in Golf is celebrating another victory for one of its ambassadors with Ian Poulter claiming last week’s European Tour crown in Hong Kong.
The stylish Englishman was on unstoppable form as he carded a final round 67 to finish on 22 under par, 258 at the Hong Kong Golf Club in the UBS Hong Kong Open. The Ryder Cup star has shown impressive form over the last few weeks and appeared in complete control of his game with outstanding approach shots and his trademark putting touch which on Friday combined for a blistering 60, narrowly missing out on the magical 59. Poulter eventually won by a solitary shot from a chasing pack that included six more FootJoy wearers including seventeen year old sensation and FootJoy ambassador Matteo Manassero, whose closing 62 continued his impressive arrival on the world stage as well as Northern Ireland’s Rory McIlroy who finished four shots back with another impressive display of ball striking.
From the reputed FootJoy Golf Shoe range, Poulter chose the stylish FJ ICON MyJoys complementing his unmistakeable style but also providing the desired stability and excellence. Poulter, who has climbed to 11th in the World rankings before the start of the Dubai World Championship later this week also chose the FootJoy SciFlex™ glove providing unrivalled grip and performance.

POULTER TRUSTS TITLEIST PRO V1x BALL FOR TITLE #10
Titleist golf ball loyalists were at the top of leaderboards around the world again last weekend. This was led by Pro V1x loyalist Ian Poulter who claimed the Hong Kong Open for his tenth career European Tour victory and second of the 2010 season following his win at the WGC – Accenture Matchplay Championship in February. Poulter put his trust in the feel and control of the legendary Titleist Pro V1x, as the flamboyant Englishman shot a final-round 67 to hold off the charge of runner-up and fellow Pro V1 loyalist and Titleist ambassador Matteo Manassero. The Italian teenager closed with a stunning round of 62 to continue his rich vein of form after winning the Castello Masters last month.
Poulter’s victory in Hong Kong saw him finish atop of a Titleist golf ball dominated leaderboard, with seven Pro V1 or Pro V1x players in the top 9. Joining Poulter and Manassero in the top-7 were 4th placed Anthony Kang (Pro V1x) and Northern Irishman Rory McIlroy in 6th (Pro V1x). Titleist was the golf ball of choice at the UBS Hong Kong Open with 89 players putting their trust in the #1 ball in golf, more than four times that of its nearest competitor.
Elsewhere, on the Australasian Tour Steven Bowditch won the Cellarbrations NSW PGA Championship with a prototype Pro V1x, finishing 2 strokes clear of fellow Titleist player Gareth Paddison (Pro V1). Titleist was the overwhelming choice at the tournament, with 115 players in the 142 field putting their trust in a Titleist golf ball. Poulter and Bowditch’s victories have taken the Titleist worldwide win count to 141, almost six times more than the nearest competitor with 24.
A tenth career European Tour victory for Ian Poulter, coupled with further wins around the world for Titleist golf ball loyalists, continues to prove that the world’s best players opt for the matchless performance of Titleist for their success.

HOFFMAN TRUSTS TITLEIST IN STUNNING FINAL ROUND
Titleist Ambassador Charley Hoffman fires a final round 62 to capture the Deutsche Bank Championship.
This week’s Deutsche Bank Championship was set alight by Titleist Ambassador Charley Hoffman who recovered a four shot deficit to claim his second career victory with a sensational 62. Hoffman staked his claim for the FedExCup title with an eleven birdie tally that tied the tournament record of 262 and catapulted him to second place, a move of 57 places in the FedExCup standings.
Hoffman trusted the feel and control of the Pro V1 golf ball and a host of Titleist clubs including; the new 910 D3 (9.5°) prototype driver, MB irons (3-9), Vokey Design wedges (48°, 56°, 60°) and Scotty Cameron Red X putter to craft a signature performance that will go down in PGA TOUR history. Four rounds in the 60’s (64-67-69-62) were capped with a sensational final round to close out the event in true style with a five stroke winning margin. Three players finished tied for second, five shots off Hoffman’s pace, including Titleist Brand Ambassador Geoff Ogilvy (Pro V1) and Luke Donald (Pro V1x). Ogilvy, who played alongside Hoffman on Monday, closed with a 5-under 66 and his runner-up finish moved him from No. 52 to No. 9 in the standings, assuring him a spot in The Tour Championship.
Hoffman’s victory with Titleist’s new 910 D3 prototype driver was the second win for the 910 prototype driver following Titleist Brand Ambassador Ross Fisher’s victory last month on the European Tour, at the 3 Irish Open. In fact, counting Hoffman, four players that finished among the top 5 and ties at the Deutsche Bank Championship relied on the Titleist 910 prototype driver, including Geoff Ogilvy and Adam Scott
Elsewhere on the Champions Tour Ted Schulz relied on the Pro V1x golf ball to win the Home Care & Hospice First Tee Open. Schulz, in the field on conditional status, made the most of the opportunity, winning his first Champions Tour title and claiming his first professional win since 1991.
Titleist was the overwhelming golf ball of choice at The Deutsche Bank Championship with 64 players, more than seven times the nearest competitor with 9. The wins by Hoffman and Schulz advance Titleist’s 2010 worldwide win count to 95, nearly five times the nearest competitor with 20.
Further strong performances from Titleist Ambassadors coupled with the constant flow of Pro V1 victories across worldwide professional tours continues to prove that the world’s best players opt for the matchless performance of Titleist.
